PAGCOR hlásí v roce 6.5 rekordní příjmy z her ve výši 2024 miliardy USD, tažené E-Games

By - 14. dubna 2025

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has confirmed a record-breaking gross gaming revenue (GGR) of Php372.33bn (US$6.5bn) for 2024, marking a 30.52 per cent increase over the Php285.27bn reported in 2023. This new milestone underscores the robust expansion and evolving dynamics of the Philippine gaming sector.

The official GGR figure excludes revenues from offshore gaming, which was banned by the end of 2024. These offshore operations had contributed an additional Php38.14 billion prior to the ban, bringing the full industry-wide total to Php410.47bn.

The land-based casino segment maintained its leading position, generating Php201.83 billion—54.2 per cent of total GGR. PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco highlighted the significance of these establishments:

“This GGR feat underscores the crucial role of licensed casinos in sustaining the growth momentum of the Philippine gaming sector. They remain as our biggest revenue drivers and a major source of government funding for socio-civic programs.”

A standout growth driver in 2024 was the E-Games and E-Bingo sector, which surged by 165.66 per cent, from Php58.16bn in 2023 to Php154.51bn. This segment now accounts for 41.51 per cent of total GGR, a clear signal of changing consumer preferences and industry digitization.

Chairman Tengco said: “The significant leap in E-Games and E-Bingo revenues shows that the industry is evolving rapidly, and PAGCOR is committed to ensuring that we keep pace with technological advancements while promoting responsible gaming.”

Meanwhile, PAGCOR-operated casinos contributed Php15.97bn, representing 4.29 per cent of the total GGR.

This historic growth also led to notable financial gains for PAGCOR itself with revenues up 40.74 per cent, from Php79.37bn to Php111.71bn

Chairman Tengco concluded: “With a bigger GGR base, we’re looking at a stronger multiplier effect—more jobs, more investments, and more public funds for social programs. The Philippine gaming industry isn’t just growing—it’s evolving, and with it comes greater responsibility and opportunity.”
